Dr. Godar is a medical doctor with 24 years of experience practicing Medical Acupuncture in outpatient and inpatient settings.  He is Board Certified in Medical Acupuncture and has a special interest in rehabilitative acupuncture treatments, as well as treating musculoskeletal problems and working with stress management.  

Eagle Valley Medical Acupuncture is an ‘acupuncture only’ consultative outpatient clinic, combining Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, French Energetic Acupuncture, and Neuroacupuncture analysis and treatment techniques.  Needling and Non-Needling treatments, when indicated, are available.

Please note that Dr. Godar does not provide primary care services or prescriptions for medications, and he does not provide herbal treatments.

Acupuncture treatments do not replace primary care services and an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider and appropriate preventive medicine services are essential to maintaining good health.  All acupuncture services are provided as an adjunct to western medicine therapies.

Dr. Godar does not accept Insurance assignment, but treatments may be reimbursable by Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Savings Accounts (FSA).

Dr. Godar offers a standing 50% discount for active First Responders.


Available appointment types are:

Focused Musculoskeletal problems (1 hour)

Stress management (1 hour)

Initial appointment for complicated medical or multiple medical problems, including post-stroke and traumatic brain injury rehab (2 hours)

Routine follow up appointments (1 hour)

How are acupuncturists educated?

Today, licensed acupuncturists (L.Ac.) undertake three to four years of extensive and comprehensive graduate training at nationally certified schools. All acupuncturists must pass a national exam and meet strict guidelines to practice in every state.
